Wholesale trees and wreaths are available from association members in lots ranging from a few dozen for a fund raising project to several truckloads for large suburban and city tree lots. Most trees go to markets in the Northeast, but some move as far south as Florida. Association members open their plantations for inspection by prospective buyers and many will arrange delivery. Trees that will be transported outside the region are inspected by a Department of Agriculture entomologist who issues a phytosanitary certificate.

The Association's annual Wholesale Buyers Guide lists members with number of trees available by species and grade, number of wreaths available by density and size, and brush available by the ton. In August 2007, the Buyer's Guide will be available online here. The Buyers Guide information presented on this web page is updated periodically as the season progresses.

This Guide is based upon information provided by Association members as of mid-summer. Place your orders early as the availability of trees, wreaths and brush decreases rapidly as the buying season progresses. If you need assistance in contacting growers, or general information about this year's market, please contact us.

GRADES

Association members have since 1994 used a standard tree grade terminology Premium, #1, #2, and #3. These greades are not based on USDA grades but generally agree with them. When in doubt ask the grower about his or her grading criteria.

TREES

Unless otherwise specified, listed trees are in the 6- to 8-foot range.
