Choose & Cut is a popular and growing way for families and individuals to get their Christmas tree. Association members open their tree plantations for tree cutting from Thanksgiving weekend until Christmas. Choose & Cut, also called Harvest-Your-Own, provides a way to get the freshest tree possible. You select it, you cut it - and you can set it up and decorate it the same day if you wish. Choose & Tag is a variation of Harvest-Your-Own, wherein you can to the farm during the fall foliage season to tag a tree for harvest in December.
Refreshments, hay rides, reindeer, and Christmas Shops are a part of the activities at many farms offering Choose & Cut and Choose & Tag trees.
