10:00 - 11:00 am: Real Answers to Taxation in the Tree Business with Michelle McVetty, CPA Partner at Cohos Advisors and Kristen Daisey, CPA at Daisey Tax Managemnt PLLC

11:00 - 12:00: Integrated Tick Management Techniques with Dr. Scott C. Williams, Chief Scientist and Head of the Department of Environmental Science and Forestry at the CT Ag. Experiment Station in New Haven CT.

12:00: Lunch provided by Chef Joe's Catering: Baked Ziti, Meatballs and Sausage in Tomato Sauce, Traditional Caesar Salad, Crispy Garlic Bread and Rolls, dessert.

1:00 - 2:00 pm: Manipulating soil microbiology for potential increase in Christmas tree growth and long-term soil health with John Culpeper, co-founder of Compost for Good and a certified Soil Food Web School Microscopist

2:00 - 3:00 pm: Seedling Selection with our Panel of Experts: Jay Weir of Weir Tree Farms, William Downey of Downey Tree Company Inc. and Jim Downey of Downey Tree Farms and Nursery
