Jessica will take the audience through a mock inspection. This program will simulate a VT pesticide use inspection. The process and what an inspector is looking at when they come to your farm. Storage, application equipment, PPE, records keeping and more.

Retail and Agritourism
Penny Krygier will be available to answer questions about their agritourism program, the giftshop/retail operations along with how they manage their POS system, credit card processing, buying and the experience of visiting their farm in the Fall.

11:30 - 12:00

Bob White, Farmer and representative on the RTPB research advisory board.
Bob will follow up with feedback from NHVTCTA growers with input from CT and WI about leader die off in Fraser Fir.

12:00 - 1:00

Lunch: BBQ Brisket, Maple Teriyaki Chicken with side salads, dessert and drinks.

1:00 - 3:00

Derek Krygier, Judy Rosovsky, VT State Entomologist, Steve Hardy, Bob White, and Jimmy Downey will lead a field trip around the farm to discuss planting site, tree care, review insect and plant nutrition issues, including tree leader die off.
A demonstration of drone use for fertilizer and pesticide applications by Aero Drone Solutions LLC.

4 Pesticides credits will be available for these programs.
